IB 394 JIO: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
To be eligible, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old as of September 14, 2025. Age

Educational Qualification:

Composition of the tests
- Tier I: Online Exam (100 Marks): This is an objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) test with a duration of two hours. It has two parts:
General Mental
Ability (25% weightage, 25 questions)
Combination of
subjects as per essential qualifications (75% weightage, 75 questions)
There is a negative marking of 1/4th of a mark for each wrong answer.
- Tier II: Skill Test (30
Marks): This practical/technical test is based on the job profile.
- Tier III: Interview/Personality Test (20
Marks).
The final selection will be based on the combined
marks from all three tiers.

The salary for an IB Junior Intelligence Officer is
based on Pay Level 4, with a pay scale ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. The gross monthly salary, including
allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and a
Special Security Allowance (SSA) of 20% of the basic pay, is approximately ₹39,555. The in-hand salary is around ₹36,500 per month after deductions.
