PROMYS इंडिया (प्रोग्राम इन मैथमेटिक्स फॉर यंग साइंटिस्ट्स) 2025

"PROMYS 2025 India is a special six-week summer program for students who love math. It's open to students from 9th to 12th standard from all over India. Selected students will live on the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus in Bengaluru and learn advanced math concepts. This program is inspired by a similar program in the US called PROMYS, which has been running for over 30 years."

We're excited to announce that applications for PROMYS India 2025 are now open! The program will take place from May 11 to June 21, 2025, at the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru.

PROMYS India: A Legacy of Excellence

PROMYS India is inspired by the renowned PROMYS program at Boston University, USA, which has been nurturing young mathematicians since 1989.

A Partnership Born

PROMYS India was conceived in partnership with philanthropists Nick Nash & Phalgun Raju and Avi and Sandra Nash. The program evolved from the Mehta Fellowships, which enabled gifted Indian mathematicians to attend PROMYS.

A New Chapter

Professors Ila Varma and Glenn Stevens visited India to share their vision for PROMYS India. They were warmly received by mathematicians, educators, and innovators, paving the way for a new chapter in mathematics education.

PROMYS and PROMYS India look forward to collaborating with colleagues in India who share their passion for nurturing talented young mathematicians.

Eligibility Criteria-PROMYS-2025

इस कार्यक्रम में आवेदन करने के लिए आवेदकों की आयु 11 मई 2025 तक कम से कम 15 वर्ष होना अनिवार्य है। उन्हें सरकारी वित्तपोषित या सहायता प्राप्त, निजी, स्ववित्तपोषित, स्वतंत्र विद्यालय, छठे फॉर्म के कॉलेजों, होम स्कूल अथवा अन्य प्रकार के माध्यमिक और उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में नामांकित होना आवश्यक है, अर्थात वे एक नियमित विद्यार्थी के रुप में किसी संस्थान में अध्ययनरत हों यह आवश्यक है ।

इस कार्यक्रम के लिए जिन विद्यार्थइयों का चयन किया जाएगा उन चयनित विद्यार्थियों को पूरी छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की जाएगी, जिसमें ट्यूशन फीस और अन्य लाभ शामिल हैं।

इस कार्यक्रम में आवेदकों को आवेदन करने के लिए 25 जनवरी 2025 तक का समय दिया गया है वे आनलाइन माध्यम से अपना आवेदन प्रेषित कर सकते हैं ।
